I'm really impressed by the guard implementation. Took a bit of acclimation, but started to get the hang of it in the end. I ended up assigning Jump to A, regular attack to X, then special and guard to the shoulder buttons. I did have to play around with the controls for a while before I found a configuration I felt comfortable with on my gamepad. Smooth, awesome animation, what feels like an impressively deep combat system already, and classic platforming fun.
